How the internet works:

Today we learnt about packet switching , network of network and TCP / IP . We watched a video including these things
In the school , we have a network which connects to many networks. The internet connects all these networks together.    They can get there a quick as possible.    They are set in to packets and get send around.

Garfield comic

In ICT we are learning about comics. I have chosen this comic because I like Garfield.

My audience are kids because this comic uses simple vocabulary and included some pictures. My genre/style is funny and entertaining.  The design is colorful and like I said before there are some pictures included.

How To Add A Podcast To Google Reader Using RSS Feed?

In this post , I will show you step by step how 

to add a podcast to Google reader using RSS feed.

1. find a podcast (an RSS feed )

2. Copy RSS feed

right click on RSS / subscribe + “ copy link”

3. Go to Google reader

4. Press “ add a subscription”

5. Paste link

6. Press add

I find knowing this very useful and I hope you 

will too!

Blogger Arrested

Here are 3 examples of blogger arrested:

I have heard many bad things about blogger Arresting ! People get arrested by : bad language or saying bad things to someone you don't even know very well.

For example: a man from Greece who did all of this got arrested
by police. He was jailed on $5,000 bail, although the police said the price should increase to $250,000

Another example is :Christophe who does not like the way the city mayor manages the city, spends the public money and says it on his blog, every day. He has been very successful doing that, with hundreds of inhabitants of Puteaux reading and commenting his blog everyday and many national newspapers that talked about his blog.

Christophe criticizes the city management so much that they have tried to stop him for months, the city mayor has even sent him threats over the phone that he recorded and blogged, of course.

Today, he has been stopped in the street by the Police Municipale (the local French Police) Who tried to arrest him for his blogger.Fortunately for Christophe, the National Police arrived immediately as they found what was happening , and let him go.

I try to avoid this by not going on other peoples accounts without permission, I don't use bad language,I don't use your account inappropriately and don't do things to hurt other peoples
feeling !

Education Is Important

Firstly I chose this video because he knows where he is talking about. Secondly , I chose this video because he says why education is important. Thirdly I choose this video because he reads a poem so a I find it more interesting instead of listing to someone just talking. Education is important because when you grow up , you will be smart and have a good job and earn a lot of money. This video also shows you how lucky you are because in some places like Africa, they don't even have schools or computers like we do. The most exiting thing they get to do is read a book if they are lucky ....
